The Friends of Durfee Theater is a summer theater program started by Brian
Simons and Eli Bigelow in 2009 through Durfee High School to create an opportunity for college students to work in their
craft while mentoring and further educating high school students who enjoy theater and/or plan on pursuing performance in
college, giving them the opportunity to work side my side with advanced actors.
